4 weeks to go
4 weeks, that's how much time I have left to do thesis. last night (or this morning) I slept at 5am and the night before 4am. Oh man, I'm gonna be so whacked out over the next month >.< On top of thesis I have:
~2 Java labs for network management
~project management seminar (wk 13) and report (wk 14)
~tele systems 2 group assignment (due around wk 13) and a presentation of the assignment if unlucky enough to be chosen by lecturer
~did I mention thesis?
After week 14 comes exams! The provisional timetable came out this morning and it looks pretty good:
12/6-15/6: Stuvac
19/6: Project Management @ 2-5pm
29/6: Tele Systems 2 @ 2-5pm
30/6: Network Management @ 2-5pm
At least all the harder subejcts are at the backend of the exam period and all 3 are in the afternoon (good for all night cram sessions).
On a different note, got a reply from the one and only grad program (SKM) I've applied so far. They said:
We have received a large response to this opportunity and are currently in the process or reading, sorting and assessing applications.
We anticipate our shortlisting process will commence soon. Interviews will be at our offices in St Leonards and offers forwarded to successful candidates shortly after this.
"Large response"? That's not good...Oh well, expecting the reject email to come any day now...

hahah funny ho
Jeff, I feel your pain! I have exams starting the day after classes finish on Friday 9th - that means I have an exam on Saturday 10th June! No stuvac, no long weekend! How rude!!
Anyway, stay strong... not much further to go now
hey jeff! I stumbled upon your blog from Sam's... hope you don't mind. Anyway, just a random comment: I did my thesis 2 days before it was due :p (ok, well the research and everything was done weeks before) but the writing part was done in the last 2 nights...
Dont follow my example tho! I only got 52/100 haha... I think the problem was mainly to do with the fact that i hated the topic I chose to write about (its all this arty farty stuff) rather than the lack of time management.
All the best! Hope to hear some good news about it sometime on your blog :)
