Not much to talk about really. Been gaming everyday and hardly anything else. What a bum. I have however taken the initiative to cook due to the fact all the women in the family are overseas and you can have so much take-away. Nothing fancy though, just pasta and fried rice. Can't be botherd to make actual dishes because they take too long. My theory is just whack everything into the pot/wok and cook it. Simple :)
Celebrated Nick's birthday on Saturday with putt-putt at West Ryde. 3 courses for $16 which is alright. I was in the group with Russ and James and I won the first two courses with James winning the third.
Then it was off to Casino Hiscocks for dinner and a bit of poker. $2 buy in - first place $10, second place $4. I came second so won two bucks. Hmm...petrol money I guess (barely). In one hand, Nancy experienced the 'pain' of going all in on pocket aces (pre-flop) and lost. It happened to me before and I think that time it was $5 or $10 buy-in. Ouch. I guess the lesson is not to get too excited and/or confident about getting pocket aces. It could hurt you :P
Two things from dinner I think are worth mentioning. Firstly, Russ and I had KFC. Since it was the first meal of the day for both of us (yes, we played putt putt on an empty stomach) we decided to go for something big. This is what we bought: 10 pieces of chicken, 10 pieces of wicked wings, 2 large potato & gravy, 2 large chips and 1.25 Pepsi. All for $25 (with a coupon of course). So much for trying to lose weight. As always, I finished my share (like that time when I went hard on Krispy Kremes) and Russ struggled. However, after eating all that chicken (or grease for that matter), I don't want to touch KFC for the next week or two. Ugh.
And the second thing to come out of dinner? Mark had milk with his pizza. What the?!?! Why, Mark? It's like...having beer with toast?!?!

hey what's wrong with beer and toast?
for that matter what's wrong with milk and pizza?
think about it, mark and brad pretty much have the same feeling towards most asian foods
to each their own, don't begrudge someone for having their own preferences and opinions, begrudge them when they try and shove those opinions on you
"mark and brad pretty much have the same feeling towards most asian foods"
What does that got to do with this post?
"don't begrudge someone for having their own preferences and opinions"
I don't have a problem with Mark having milk with his pizza. I find it odd that's all (as did everyone else except Sarah and Brad, who arrived late)
Face it Jeff, only freaks don't like milk with their pizza :)
Mark
"...Mark had milk with his pizza. What the?!?! Why, Mark? It's like...having beer with toast?!?!"
jeff, read what you wrote, whether you meant to or not, you wrote a sentence that says you have a problem when someone drinks milk and eats pizza
Owned.
Lets face it Kam
You only won putt putt cause you cheated. That and the fact that I was playing with elliptical golf balls.
2-0 to you in our epic eating contest.
I will have my revenge... one day.
