Futsal Fever

Played 3, lost 2, drew 1

So tired after playing in the indoor soccer church comp with some of the EFC guys today. Our team got knocked out after the first stage but the important thing was everyone had fun. I have no idea how Albert is planning to finish let alone run in the City to Surf tomorrow after playing in 3 high intensity games. The man also had pizza and junk food when we crashed at Chris' place afterwards. Talk about preparation for a 14km run! But if we didn't have him on the team today, we would have been smacked.


Following the footsteps of the Cameroon soccer team, we played in sleeveless tops. It says:

"Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us" (Hebrews 12:1-2)
