I played park footy against NRL stars!

And I thought it was going to be another mundane Tuesday. Yes, CCNA was boring as usual and we continued our season-long losing streak in Oztag but I scored a try against a team that contained 1 current and former NRL player:




Yes, we were up against Michael Crocker, current Sydney Roosters, Queensland and Australia rep player and Ian Rubin, who played for the Roosters, Rabbitohs and Russia. Crocker was subbing in for a mate while Rubin plays Oztag now that he has retired from the NRL. We were pretty competitive in the first half, keeping up with the other team. Crocker limped off before halftime so that was a bit of a bum. To be honest, he didn't do much while he was on the field anyway :P Ask the others who were there! I also copped a hit by Rubin. That guy is an absolute Russian tank! Imagine we were playing contact! You wouldn't want to be smashed by him! The score was pretty even at half time but we faded away in the second when we had no stamina left. I got my first try of the season in an overlap so was pretty happy about that.


Got an interview with Vodafone tomorrow at 9am. Fingers crossed. Better get some early shut eye...
