World Cup dilemma
Ok, I can sense the next few posts will be World Cup related...anyway...got a bit of a dilemma at the moment.
Monday 2am - World Cup: Australia Vs Brazil
Monday 2pm - Project Management exam @ Randwick Racecourse
Not so concerned with the exam itself because I think it will be relatively simple (simple means I can waffle on and on and should still do ok) but rather whether I can make it to the exam at all. Post thesis + World Cup meant I've been waking and sleeping at weird hours of the day (The other day I woke up at 3....pm) so there is every chance I could miss this exam...or cutting it very close (catching a cab from the city which will cost around $15)
Taping the game/watching highlights are out cos it just won't have the same feel...
I like my cousin's approach. He's doing his HSC this year and has some chem prac tomorrow at noon (as well as school in the morning). His MSN nick reads:

ps. The result was very pleasing and not undeserved on the part of the Brazilians. The Socceroos are a far inferior team in terms of skill and execution. They had the chance to shut Brazil down time and time again but they choked. Too bad. I wonder if Nike will continue to play those ads now Australia have actually lost? The media is insufferable. I couldn't stand the endless replays if Australia did happen to win.

Jeff, we've all been faced with these dilemmas over the past couple of weeks... I've taken to staying up until at least the end of the second game of every night when I don't have an exam the next day. Three people here had to face a chemistry exam at 9am this morning, and they still watched the game!!! Crazy people!
Your intolerance for my 'hobby' as you so quaintly put it is truly heartbreaking. I can only assume these personal attacks are motivated not by a true dislike for my artistic skills but jealousy of the attributes I possess which make me inherently superior to you (otherwise known as penis envy).
